About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Rental Turn Technician provides timely completion of CGI, repairs and maintenance to various rental heavy construction equipment and machinery within shop at Ascendum Branch locations, according to established procedures, while maintaining good working relationships with customers and co-workers. FLSA STATUS: The U.S. Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requires employers to classify their employees as being either exempt or non-exempt for the purpose of being paid overtime wages. The essential duties of this job are such that the employee is classified according to the FLSA as a Non-Exempt employee. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 10% To perform the job successfully, the employee must be able to perform each essential duty of the job in a satisfactory manner, with or without reasonable accommodation. Requirements

High School diploma and/or trade school completion in appropriate field.
The employee can use the equipment and software required to accomplish the responsibilities of this position. Knowledge of Microsoft Products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Possesses ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a positive and enthusiastic manner. Maintains an approachable and friendly demeanor.
Knowledge of safe job practices & regulations related to OSHA, MSHA and Ascendum Machinery requirements.
Aptitude for repairing, trouble shooting, and servicing equipment in changing environments.
Possesses strong attention to detail.
Raises issues and concerns promptly.
Possesses good verbal and written communication skills.
Documents work in a clear and concise manner.
Proven ability to complete work with energy and enthusiasm.
Customer orientation toward service and building relationships.
Compatible to working branch hours and extended days as needed.
Must possess own set of tools for repairing equipment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the monthly maintenance of stored machines process
Complete all delivery and receiving functions
Maintains yard organization
Completes and documents pre loading inspections, as well as all attachment instillations and removals.
Maintain, safely operate, and care for company owned tools and equipment per company requirements.
Maintain up to date knowledge of all safety training, product training, and service department goals.
Complete assigned work with minimum re-work.
Ensure all company safety requirements are adhered to at all times.
Ensure all administrative functions are completed in a timely manner.
Responds positively to other duties that may be assigned in the scope of the job.
Seeks formal and informal performance assessments, including performance versus expectations.
Actively participates in required training, development programs, and electives as suits one’s needs.
