About The Position

The PMC Rental Tech position is a versatile position that operates in a fast-paced environment with constant changes. This position requires various duties that range from administrative duties to light mechanical duties as follows:

Requirements

• Knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment parts.
• A minimum of two (2) years experience with word processor, personal computer and/or terminal hardware/software, with proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to professionally interact with fellow employees, sales representatives, management, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Rental checking equipment to department standards outlined in a checklist, covering basic maintenance such as fluid levels, grease, fuel, GET, and customer damages.
• Cleaning equipment after each return, ensuring machines are steam cleaned and detailed.
• Equipping machines for rental by reconfiguring machines with different buckets or attachments, including switching buckets and adding attachments.
• Documenting traffic and taking pictures of each machine coming and going, ensuring proper paperwork is completed and pictures are uploaded to the ERP system on the same day as traffic.
• Performing light mechanical duties as needed, with minor damages and maintenance handled by this position based on skill level.
• Processing traffic receipts in PFW as directed by the Yard Coordinator.
• Maintaining an organized appearance of the yard for PMC's representation to customers.
• Assisting the Rental Manager with quarterly inventory audits of the location.
• Communicating with the Service Department for heavier mechanical duties, customer damages, PDI, and assistance with rental checks.
