About The Position

As a Rental Technician, you'll support the daily operations of Cliff Sports, Snowbird Sports, and Creekside Sports under the direction of the Store Manager. You'll assist guests with ski and snowboard rentals, perform basic equipment tuning, and sell ski accessories, souvenirs, and other retail products.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-6 months of relevant experience preferred.
  • Must pass ski binding certification prior to start date.
  • Ability to select and fit appropriate rental equipment per guest needs.
  • Basic tuning skills for ski and snowboard equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with guests.
  • Commitment to following all policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced or expert-level skiing/snowboarding preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Fit guests for ski and snowboard rental equipment.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sell ski apparel, accessories, and gear.
  • Perform basic tuning and maintenance on rental equipment.
  • Operate computerized sales and inventory systems.
  • Follow store policies and procedures accurately.
  • Maintain inventory control and process payments correctly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
