About The Position

As a guest service representative at Loon Mountain Resort, you will be responsible for greeting and guiding guests in the proper fitting of ski and snowboard boots. You will need to master Loon’s services, promotions, and hours of operations to provide consistent information to all guests. Your role is crucial in contributing to a safe and clean environment for all guests, ensuring quality customer service, and acting with accountability. A key part of your job will be to get and keep guests satisfied with their experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Retail experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of proper fit of ski and snowboard boots.
• Greet guests and quickly identify guest’s specific needs and steer them in the appropriate direction.
• Provide directions and anticipate guest’s questions. Assist guests with sign in process.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all interactions.
• Attend and participate in daily safety and service meetings.
• Provide trail maps, brochures and contact information.
• Actively promote a safe recreational environment by educating the public with regards to 'Your Responsibility Code.'
