About The Position

If you’re motivated, customer-focused, and like earning commission by delivering great service, join the Avis Budget Group team supporting Budget Truck customers. In this role, you’ll combine customer service and sales to help individuals and businesses choose the right cargo van or box truck for their needs—while building trust and delivering a positive rental experience. What You’ll Do: You will rent cargo vans and box trucks and recommend products and services at our Budget Truck rental counters. This includes processing rental contracts, actively listening to customer needs, and offering solutions that help customers feel prepared and confident for their move or business use. You’ll take a consultative, service-first approach to sales—explaining options clearly, answering questions, and recommending add-ons that provide real value. You may also be required to drive a Budget Truck on public roads as part of the rental or operational process. By delivering knowledgeable, professional service, your work helps customers get on the road smoothly while driving both satisfaction and revenue. Requirements

• Effective verbal communication and active listening skills
• Professional, engaging, and customer-focused personality
• Basic computer skills (typing, data entry)
• Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C)
• Ability to obtain DOT medical clearance
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and near a mechanical shop with moderate noise
• Must be able to sit, stand, and type for prolonged periods
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; sit, stand, bend, reach, walk, kneel; enter, exit, climb into and out of vehicles; and drive cargo vans and box trucks in all weather conditions
• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely

Nice To Haves

• 6 months retail, real estate, or consultative sales experience in a fast-paced environment is a bonus

• Bi-weekly hourly wage plus commission / incentive / bonus plan with unlimited earning potential(New York and Puerto Rico: weekly wage)
