We are an ESOP-owned company with a customer-first focus. The Rental Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative, sales, and logistical support to the Rental team. This includes partnering with the Rental team on the status of equipment, generating rental contracts, following up on sales leads, making outbound sales calls, dispatching drivers, answering incoming customer inquiries, and fostering a positive rapport with other areas of the organization. The role ensures that all Briggs Equipment standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction. The Rental Coordinator will effectively communicate with internal and external customers regarding rental status and equipment-related research. They will create rental contracts within the company system and coordinate asset movement, provide unit updates to other branches, customers, and sales representatives, and manage the scheduling of rental equipment delivery. Additionally, the coordinator will process payables for freight and vendor invoices, maintain and review rental maintenance tickets, and coordinate preventative maintenance work orders. The position also involves following up on incoming sales leads and fostering customer relationships through outbound prospecting calls. This role is essential in ensuring that the rental operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the company.
