The Rental Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and controlling the rental of new, used, rental fleet, engine/generator equipment, air, and attachments assigned to a branch for Wagner Equipment Company and Rental Power that reflects the company's vision of working as "One Professional Team."

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years experience, preferably in a heavy equipment environment, involving customer service responsibilities
  • 1+ years administrative/clerical experience
  • 1+ years customer service experience

Responsibilities

  • Rental Administration - Input reservations, contracts, exchanges, pickup tickets, invoices, and equipment transfers using I‑Rental.
  • Contract Management - Ensure all rental contracts are current, signed, and handle overdue or expired reservations.
  • Safety & Compliance - Manage safety sheets, signatures, insurance coverage, and maintain records for training and inspections.
  • Financial Accuracy - Apply taxes, assess extra charges for damage/misuse, and resolve account issues with Credit.
  • Customer Service - Complete rental transactions, assist with invoicing/account questions, and provide quotations when needed.
  • Coordination - Work with shop coordinators, supervisors, and yard personnel to prioritize equipment readiness, shipping, and receiving.
  • Equipment Support - Coordinate repairs in the field or at other locations; review warranty jobs and requisitions.
  • Data Management - Input missed rental activity, lost‑sales data, and maintain shop work orders.
  • Sales Support - Explain and sell CAT Connect/Digital Solutions; assist with special sales projects.
  • General Duties - Perform administrative tasks assigned by the Rental Fleet Manager and assist in parts warehouse as needed.
