About The Position
Wheeler Machinery Co. is seeking a Rental Coordinator for our Salt Lake City, UT location to effectively rent Caterpillar and allied equipment. This full-time benefited position will be responsible for facilitating the rental and sales needs of current and prospective customers. The incumbent will possess the ability to multi-task, remain extremely organized and be able to develop relationships with both internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Math, reading, writing, and typing skills
- Flexible with the ability to perform a wide range of tasks
- Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
- Rental customer activities: receive and make calls, answers questions, quotes rates and sale prices
- Assists customers choose correct equipment models and sizes for application and jobsite requirements
- Maintains proactive / creative attitude to increase rental sales activity
- Ensures accurate and timely rental transactions: setting rental rates, invoicing, insurance verification, machine, and work tool configuration
- Schedules / coordinates equipment transportation
- Updates rental transactions and contract information in Dealer Business System
- Coordinates / schedules maintenance and repairs with Service Department
- Investigates and resolves customer issues with equipment deliveries, repairs, billing and other related items
- Assists outside Sales Representatives as necessary.
- Ensures that safety practices are a part of everyone's daily routine
