Rental Car Driver
About The Position
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Rental Car Driver to drive vehicles to and from assigned locations. Depending on the contractual need, this could be around an airport or rental car facility. This job works out of Lincoln Nebraska. Job duties include transporting rental vehicles between the Lincoln airport and local markets. Occasionally trips to Omaha and Grand Island. Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license and pass MVR
- No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience
- One (1) year of similar work experience
Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles within and/or between rental locations
- Inspect vehicles on a regular basis to find any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues
- Report incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
- Drive small and large passenger vehicles (SUV’s, Van, Pickups, etc.)
- Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions, compliance with proper safety standards
