The position involves assisting customers by monitoring the counter for those who may need help and providing necessary advice or information. The role requires handling customer complaints unless the shopper insists on speaking to a manager. The employee must be courteous and respectful at all times. Additionally, the employee is responsible for making recommendations to management regarding the addition of new product lines, discontinuation of old lines, and adjustments to basic stock quantities. They must also inform the manager of any shortages, damages, or backorders using the appropriate forms. Suggestions on how to reduce losses are encouraged. The employee will need to accurately complete paperwork for machines being dropped off for maintenance, assemble mowers, chainsaws, and other power equipment as requested, process financing paperwork for Ferris mowers, and complete tasks assigned by the Supervisor and management team.
