About The Position

Job Summary:
The Rental Associate is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of RV rentals to ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-focused rental experience. This role serves as a primary point of contact for rental customers, coordinates bookings and unit readiness, and works closely with the service department to maintain rental fleet quality and compliance.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required for cleaning and inspecting RVs.
• Must be able to move and operate around large vehicles safely.

Nice To Haves

• Basic mechanical or RV knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete all day-to-day activities related to renting RVs.
• Oversee the full rental cycle including reservations, preparation, check-in, and check-out.
• Ensure rental units are cleaned, washed, tanks dumped, and fully prepared prior to each rental.
• Perform quality control inspections on all outgoing and incoming rental units.
• Respond to customer leads, inquiries, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Handle customer communications via phone calls and messages.
• Provide clear instructions and guidance to customers during check-in and check-out.
• Validate customer claims and concerns and work to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
• Manage booking and billing for new and existing rental reservations.
• Maintain accurate rental records and documentation.
• Ensure unit insurance, registration, and required rental documentation are current and complete.
• Confirm all new rental preparation steps are completed prior to delivery.
• Schedule and coordinate routine and non-routine maintenance for rental units.
• Work closely with the service department to identify, report, and resolve repair needs.
• Ensure rental units meet company standards and safety requirements.
