Plan account strategy with the sales employees individually or with manager(s). Consult with US lease returns and Crown Credit regarding disposition of current and future lease returns. Oversee lease returns. Participate in the buying, selling, and transferring of inventory with other branches to secure Rental or Used deals. Review and/or approve pricing for Used Equipment. Prepare or assist in the preparation of proposals for Used Equipment. Receive and process calls for rental equipment from customers and retail network. Coordinate rental process activities, schedule deliveries and processing of paperwork, invoices, records, files, and reports. Supervise Rental Coordinators, Sales and Rental Representatives, and/or Support staff. Ensure that employees are properly trained and seek out ways to advance their skills and capabilities. Evaluate and anticipate work volume and assign/distribute work accordingly. Monitor work for compliance with standard procedures and effective utilization of employees and equipment. Review, modify, develop, and implement office support operating procedures as necessary to ensure timeliness and maximum efficiency. Assist office support staff as needed with researching and resolving complex issues involving customers, vendors, management, and salespersons. Monitor product order and inventory status to ensure timely and accurate delivery and invoicing. May assign tasks for the scheduling, storage, warehousing, invoicing, delivery, and pick-up of rental, used, new and shop service equipment. Review quotes and/or work orders before approving service work and invoicing for Rental and Used Equipment. Monitor Rental and Used Rental Equipment inventory and maintenance of equipment. Participate in any complex personnel situation. Review time and attendance of personnel on a regular basis. Perform duties such as creating/revising job descriptions, conducting Talent Development discussion sessions, rating performance, establishing/tracking goals and completing annual wage reviews. Responsible for coaching, motivating, mentoring, and developing direct reports to successfully take on additional responsibilities. Provide back-up support to office personnel as needed. May oversee department when the Department Manager is not available. Perform other duties as assigned.
