Requirements

• Current Nevada State Armed Security Guard License
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• EMT Background is a plus
• Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting
• Reliable transportation
• Honesty and Integrity
• Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations

Nice To Haves

• 10 years prior Law Enforcement, Public Safety and/or Corrections experience required
• Reserve police officers encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Responsibilities

• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents
• Conduct regular patrols
• Monitor activities
• Surveillance
• Access Control
• Safety escorts
• Using provided communication devices
• Represent SSNW’s brand
• Properly wear the issued uniform
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
• Complete Incident Reports
• Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services
• Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures
• Other duties as described in the Post Orders
