About The Position

Motus is looking for a Renewal Specialist to execute on the customer renewal strategy and help grow renewal-based revenue. Collaborating with Finance, Legal, and Account Management teams, you will ensure our customers enjoy a smooth and expertly crafted renewal process. For success in this position, having outstanding written and verbal communication abilities is key for interacting with both internal and external customers. You will need to be highly organized and self-motivated. Our ideal candidate excels at creative problem-solving and managing conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in a customer-facing role such as Sales/Business Development, Customer Success, or Account Management (SaaS industry highly preferred)
  • Outstanding skills in written and verbal communication
  • Self-directed in daily work activity, with excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to handle pressure and multiple tasks during high-peak times
  • Meticulous regarding deadlines and a strong sense of urgency
  • Professional and ethical demeanor
  • Collaborative attitude and approach
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Holds self and others accountable for results
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Able to work independently in a remote work environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop a detailed comprehension of contractual terms and product offerings to identify and offer the most effective renewal choices
  • Manage, negotiate, and deliver on-time and accurate contract renewals for small to mid-size customers, to increase renewal-based revenue
  • Evaluate contract terms and partner with Finance to deploy accurate and on-time renewal invoices
  • Initiate, maintain, and develop positive customer relationships during renewal contract discussions and negotiations to provide a positive and seamless renewal experience for customers
  • Collaborate with Legal Department, Account Managers, and senior management as needed to carry-out customer renewals
  • Maintain accurate and consistent renewal tracking by managing and updating SaaS contract processes and renewal-related databases
  • Work closely with Account Managers, Customer Success, and Finance teams to process customer terminations
  • Develop and share best practices with team members to continually improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our processes
