Renewals Specialist Drive customer retention and revenue growth by managing end-to-end renewal cycles for a defined portfolio of accounts. Build trusted advisor relationships with customers to align SmartBear solutions with their evolving business needs. Identify expansion opportunities through proactive engagement, product adoption, and value-driven conversations.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing role such as renewals, sales, account management, or customer success.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build trusted relationships at multiple levels within an organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in software or SaaS environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full renewal lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of contracts to achieve retention targets.
  • Strategically engage customers to understand business objectives and align SmartBear solutions to support long-term success.
  • Drive product usage and adoption to maximize license utilization and uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Support to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor customer health signals and proactively address risks to minimize churn.
  • Provide insights and feedback on customer product experiences to improve performance, value realization, and overall satisfaction.
