About The Position

The Renewals Manager, part of the Revenue Operations organization, is responsible for leading the end-to-end renewal process for a portfolio of strategic or enterprise customers. This role focuses on retention, risk mitigation, and contractual accuracy — including the creation and management of renewal contracts — while ensuring outcomes align with both business objectives and customer goals. The Renewals Manager plays a critical role in maintaining Net Revenue Retention (NRR) by ensuring timely renewals, protecting recurring revenue, and identifying expansion opportunities for Customer Success or Sales to pursue.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years in SaaS, technology, or enterprise software within renewals, revenue operations, or customer success.
  • Proven ability to manage complex renewals, create and review contracts, and forecast accurately.
  • Strong understanding of Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and its operational drivers.
  • Skilled at identifying and routing upsell or expansion opportunities while maintaining focus on renewal execution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management.
  • Proficiency in CRM and contract management tools (Salesforce, CPQ, Conga, DocuSign, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret renewal data and performance metrics

Responsibilities

  • Partner with AEs on full customer-facing renewal lifecycle for a defined portfolio of strategic or enterprise customers, from initiation through contract execution.
  • Create, prepare, and issue renewal contracts in collaboration with Finance and Legal, ensuring all terms are accurate, compliant, and aligned with policy.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers and Sales leaders to ensure renewal terms align with customer objectives and account strategies.
  • Collaborate with Customer Base Account Executives on renewal strategy and execution
  • Identify potential upsell or cross-sell opportunities during renewal discussions and route them appropriately to Sales.
  • Anticipate renewal risks and partner cross-functionally to resolve challenges before they impact revenue or customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain renewal forecasts and reporting accuracy within CRM and renewal systems.
  • Act as a key liaison between operational teams and customer-facing functions to ensure seamless renewal execution.
  • Drive renewal pricing strategy and contract paperwork within defined parameters
