Reporting to the Senior Director, Renewal Growth, the Renewals Executive plays a critical role in driving customer retention and revenue growth by leading renewal strategy for complex health plan accounts ranging from $250K to $1M in Annual Contract Value (ACV). This individual will be part of a high-performing Center of Excellence team focused on driving enterprise-wide renewal strategy, process innovation, and cross-functional alignment. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, executive-level stakeholder engagement, and a customer-first mindset.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in customer success, account management, or renewals in a SaaS or healthcare technology environment, with a track record of influencing multi-million dollar contracts.
  • Proven success managing contract management/execution within healthcare and/or technology.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • A results-driven approach while being an advocate for you customers.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to adapt.
  • Strategic thinking mindset with operational discipline.
  • Familiarity navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex renewal scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Renewal Strategy & Execution: Own the end-to-end renewal process for assigned health plan accounts, ensuring timely and successful contract renewals.
  • Develop and execute renewal strategies for high-value, complex accounts; with comfort influencing in partnership with Sales.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Sales, Account Management, Legal, and Finance to align renewal terms with customer needs and company goals.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate renewal forecasts and pipeline visibility using CRM tools; report on renewal performance and risk.
  • Process Optimization: Contribute to the development and refinement of renewal playbooks, tools, and best practices to drive consistency and scalability.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and proactively address renewal risks through strategic engagement, escalation protocols, and recovery plans for at-risk renewals.
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as a trusted advisor to customers during the renewal cycle, ensuring alignment with their evolving business needs and influencing long-term retention and expansion opportunities.
