Overview

We’re looking for a Renewal Underwriter to join our team. In this role, you’ll evaluate insurance applications for property and casualty coverage. You’ll decide whether to accept, adjust, or decline risks based on property details, safety features, and other key factors. You’ll work closely with our field team to gather information and make informed decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
• Detail oriented
• Strong analytical skills and good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Review and assess insurance applications to ensure they meet our guidelines.
• Analyze property value, location, usage, and safety features to determine risk.
• Collaborate with field teams to gather and verify information.
• Support senior underwriters in managing accounts and servicing clients.
