About The Position

We are looking for a talented Renewal Team Manager to lead our New York–based Renewals team. The Renewals team works closely with our customers to negotiate and execute renewal contracts at scale, ensuring strong retention while identifying additional growth opportunities. In this role, you will own the renewal motion end-to-end, lead and develop a high-performing team, and continuously evolve our renewal playbooks and processes in close collaboration with cross-functional partners across the organization.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Renewals or Account Management, ideally within SaaS companies
  • 3+ years of experience managing and developing teams of Renewal Managers and/or Account Managers
  • Strong people leader, motivated by coaching, developing, and enabling others to succeed
  • Proven experience in a high-velocity commercial environment, with the ability to coach teams on managing high volumes of renewals
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, regions, and levels of seniority
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience navigating commercial contracts and customer escalations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record of exceeding targets and KPIs

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the end-to-end renewal process, from customer outreach and negotiation through deal closure
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Renewal Managers supporting a high-volume commercial customer segment
  • Partner closely with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders to retain customer contracts, secure timely renewals, and support account growth
  • Lead complex renewal negotiations and contract escalations, balancing customer needs with company objectives
  • Maintain a rolling 90-day renewal forecast by segment and/or territory, ensuring high forecast accuracy and visibility
  • Proactively identify opportunity signals and generate expansion opportunities (upsell, add-on, cross-sell) within the renewal motion
  • Continuously enhance and scale the renewals playbook and processes to maximize account retention and ARR
  • Own and consistently achieve key renewal KPIs, including Gross Renewal Rate, Net Retention, expansion contribution, and forecast accuracy
  • Partner closely with regional and executive Sales leadership to regularly review renewal performance by segment, surface key challenges and risk trends, and define clear next steps to improve retention and long-term customer value
