About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Renewal Specialist to enhance resident engagement, drive lease renewals, and optimize retention rates. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to analyze resident feedback to improve overall satisfaction. Please note, this position is based in Tampa, FL and hybrid schedule.

Requirements

• Experience in property management, leasing, or customer service.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and leverage insights to enhance resident retention.
• Proficiency in property management software and CRM dashboards.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across onsite teams and corporate revenue management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send timely lease renewal offers to residents.
• Track and manage resident follow-ups using a centralized dashboard to ensure timely communication.
• Conduct renewal negotiations within revenue guidelines while fostering positive resident relationships.
• Collaborate with onsite teams to address resident concerns and proactively develop solutions to improve retention.
• Engage with residents throughout their lease term rather than limiting interactions to the traditional 90-day renewal window.
• Monitor and assess resident survey responses to identify improvement areas and personalize interactions.
• Promote rentable items and community amenities to enhance the resident experience.
