In this role, you will act as a crucial advisor to our most significant law firm clients, overseeing the entire renewal lifecycle. Your strategic insight will drive retention, expansion, and a long-term value focus for our customers. This role combines consultative sales techniques with data-driven insights, aiming to understand customer needs and mitigate risks effectively. Working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment, you will cultivate partnerships across functions, advocating for customers while achieving revenue growth objectives.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years in renewals, customer success, or account management.
  • Proven track record hitting retention and upsell targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen: pricing, discounting, negotiation, and multi-year structuring.
  • Data fluency: interpret product usage and health scores.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading executive-level negotiations.
  • High attention to detail and operational rigor.

Responsibilities

  • Identify optimal engagement channels and validate customer needs to shape product plans and drive deals to close.
  • Schedule an average of 8-10 virtual and in-person appointments per week that advance customer conversations and renewal progress.
  • Own the end-to-end renewal motion to maximize retention, achieve renewal targets, and increase customer lifetime value by engaging customers during the renewal window.
  • Possess core knowledge across subsegment products and engage Sales Specialists where deep product expertise is required.
  • Understand macro/micro market trends, customer challenges, organizational structures, and decision-making processes.
  • Create monthly product engagement data analyses with expansion plans.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales and Customer Success to deliver timely, commercially sound renewals.
  • Negotiate term and quantity changes, implement price increases, and structure multi-year strategies.
  • Proactively identify risk through regular reviews of usage, adoption, and value metrics.
