About The Position

TRC is seeking a highly motivated Renewables Project Manager (PM) for our growing Engineering, Construction - Remediation team in the Midwest. The PM can be based out of Cincinnati, Cleveland, or Columbus, OH, Grand Rapids or Ann Arbor, MI, or Chicago, IL. The PM will provide support in two primary areas: project management and engineering support. This position would be part of a very skilled team that works closely with Account Managers and other technical leads providing technical support for renewable project development. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and personable individual with an eye for detail, and a desire to be part of a growing and high performing team. This individual may work from varied locations in the mid-west or report to a TRC office in Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, civil engineering, environmental engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of renewable energy development experience in the mid-west region of the United States.
• 5+ years of experience of consulting experience on environmental projects.
• Excellent attitude and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Excellent technical writing, communication, and computer skills.
• Must have a sense of urgency, be self-motivated, and can prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management support on renewable projects including solar, onshore wind, offshore wind, battery storage, hydrogen and other technologies.
• Manage and drive the full spectrum of consulting services required throughout the project life cycle.
• Support day-to-day operations of client accounts and cross-platforming of complex projects.
• Develop project management tools, systems, processes and strategies to support renewables work at TRC.
• Provide technical support to account leads and senior project managers.
• Engage with internal and external service providers to develop scope, budget and schedule.
• Perform Quality Analysis/Quality Control of key deliverables related to projects.
• Support the development of new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
