About The Position

As the Renewable Fuels Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting Montauk’s growth by assisting with new business opportunities, assisting with proposals, making client contact, investigating market trends and opportunities, and maintaining client relationships. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to start a career in renewable energy and develop their skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Interest in renewable energy and sustainability.
  • Experience in customer service and/or sales.

Responsibilities

  • Research potential clients and market opportunities to support business development.
  • Assist in preparing responses to RFPs, RFIs and other bid documents.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information for proposals.
  • Respond to inquiries, provide product information, and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Build customer base by performing industry outreach.
  • Update and maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Preparing internal and external presentations on our business and opportunities in the industry.
  • Other duties as assigned.
