About The Position

The Renal Sales Portfolio Manager at Baxter is responsible for leading sales strategies across the San Antonio, Austin, and South Texas regions, focusing on peritoneal dialysis (PD) and hemodialysis (HD) therapies. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, driving business results, and ensuring customer satisfaction with Baxter's renal product portfolio. The manager will also collaborate with clinical specialists and technical services to expand the territory and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in a medical field.
  • Track record of managing multiple projects and/or businesses while consistently meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
  • Advanced consultative sales skills including excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Ability to relate to various levels of management, physicians, and clinical staff in offices and clinics.
  • Demonstrated negotiating skills with the ability to initiate, implement, and close associated contractual processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure successful new business conversions and development at customer sites.
  • Ability to travel at least 60% of the time with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Leading all territory sales strategy covering San Antonio, Austin, and south Texas across PD and HD therapies.
  • Maintaining customer relationships at the highest level and expanding the existing territory by identifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining strategic physician and business-led relationships.
  • Driving horizontal contract sell inclusive of all lines of business (LOBs).
  • Maintaining business pricing excellence standards and ensuring proficiency.
  • Monitoring sales against forecasts and participating in the determination of market potential for the geography.
  • Conducting scientific/technical sales presentations and discussions related to the portfolio.
  • Continuously increasing and sharpening knowledge as well as selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
