Requirements

  • Public Trust Clearance by start date.
  • Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) and 4-9 years of related experience.
  • Experience supporting industry-standard software products.
  • Demonstrated time management and self-discipline as a remote worker.
  • ITILv4 Foundation Training and Certification (to be obtained within 120 days after hire).
  • Possesses expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
  • Ability to work a 24x7x365 on-call rotation schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Installing, monitoring, and upgrading UNIX system software.
  • Providing support for on-premise and cloud-based systems.
  • Creating and maintaining UNIX user accounts and access management systems.
  • Establishing standardized backup and recovery policies.
  • Applying patches and upgrades according to schedules.
  • Resolving hardware/software platform problems in complex environments.
  • Analyzing the impact of software changes across functional units.
  • Maintaining space utilization statistics and forecasting future needs.
  • Implementing systems to proactively monitor infrastructure.
  • Making recommendations for hardware and software upgrades.
