  • Software Engineers design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software to meet business and customer needs.
  • Develop features and capabilities for end users, either external customers or internal employees.
  • Develop platforms such as data engineering and developer tooling.
  • Configure and customize vendor-provided packaged software.
  • Lead projects using SAP PO and Cloud integration tools throughout a complete lifecycle development.
  • Architect and build application integration solutions.
  • Understand integration patterns and best practices for creating integration ABAP objects.
  • Analyze ABAP code objects to assist in documenting functional requirements.
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes.
  • Create technical requirements and specifications for SAP business specific work streams and with other enterprise applications.
  • Configure SAP Web Services and ALE distribution models.
  • Lead offshore development team in implementation of integration solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including technical specifications, unit test results, performance test results, and migration plans, where applicable.
  • Participate in production support activities.
  • Adhere to the Quality System Procedure and Change Control.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • 5 years of experience with SAP PI/PO and ABAP required.
  • 3 years of experience configuring and using PO 7.4 or higher (Java Stack) required.
  • 2 years of full life cycle SAP implementations required.
  • Experience in user exit enhancements, iDocs, oData, BADIs and BAPIs.
  • Strong understanding of all components of PO including System Landscape Directory (business systems, technical landscape), Integration Repository (interface objects, mapping objects and adapter objects).
  • At least 1 year of experience with SAP Integration Suite / Cloud PI on Business Technology Platform.
  • 5 years in at least one of the following: Scripting frameworks, Relational DB Programming, Object oriented programming.
  • Experience developing applications that interface with major ERPs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration.
  • Any of the following certifications are a plus: HANA, Java, SAP PO, CPI.
  • Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus.
