Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on modernization.
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DFSORT, and IBM supplied utilities.
- Experience in the US Life & Annuity Insurance domain is essential.
- Ability to provide support to Production/Test Batch Cycle and resolve outstanding issues.
Nice To Haves
- An advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
- Relevant certifications or training in software engineering are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to software development projects by writing, testing, and debugging code.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project requirements and participate in design and code reviews.
- Provide technical expertise and support as a subject matter expert in specific domains.
- Assist in solving complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Participate in defining software requirements and specifications.
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues in coordination with operations and support teams.
