We are looking for a Remote Sensing Specialist to join our Community Building team in one of our Puget Sound office locations. This role will support geospatial data acquisition, processing, and feature extraction for engineering and environmental projects. This role includes flight operations, LiDAR and imagery processing, and mobile mapping/scan extraction workflows.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in remote sensing, LiDAR processing, or mobile mapping

Nice To Haves

• Preferred proficiency with Trimble Business Center (TBC), Cloudworks, ArcGIS Pro or other GIS software
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct aerial/UAS and mobile mapping data collection.
• Process LiDAR and imagery into point clouds, surfaces, and orthomosaics.
• Perform scan and mobile mapping feature extraction.
• Train and develop members of the team.
• Support remote sensing project delivery from planning through completion, including scope, schedule, and budget oversight.
• Conduct QA/QC to ensure accuracy and project standards.
• Collaborate with survey, engineering, and environmental teams.
