In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of enterprise master data within a collaborative and dynamic environment. You will lead an offshore data team, working closely with various business and IT stakeholders to implement effective master data governance. Your contribution is essential for enhancing operational efficiency and informed decision-making. By establishing data standards and improving access controls, you will help maintain reliable data across the organization and support its growth and innovation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in the specialty field.
2+ years of experience supporting and managing the delivery of the functional aspects of SAP projects for a life-sciences company.
Confirmed experience with Chainsys platforms and SAP Hana.
SAP ABAP technical expertise with Functional Master and transaction data handling on various SAP modules.
LSMW/Data Migration Implementation knowledge on Basis, SAP (SD, WM, FI, and CO), Salesforce, MS Dynamics CRM 365.

Responsibilities

Maintain accuracy and integrity of the company's master data across various systems.
Lead an offshore team to execute changes to the SAP Master data through tickets created and approved by the business.
Liaison between business functions and the IT team for issues pertaining to master data.
Coordinate, train, and guide local data personnel ensuring adherence to data requirements and policies.
Analyze and recommend data access improvements to maintain data integrity while allowing access to critical data.
Maintain data creation forms, data dictionary, and training documents.
Develop LSMW scripts for data mass maintenance.
Perform mass updates as well as smaller front-end updates that cannot be completed via the Datazen application.
Develop and deploy master data governance processes and tools.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert on data requests when approached with a business problem.
Create data standards within the company.
Reduce dependency and costs of using outside vendors.
Maintain/improve the interface between SAP Hana and the Datazen application.
Participate and lead Data Migration and Reconciliation projects across multiple functional areas and regions.
