About The Position
At Embark Behavioral Health, we are passionate about reducing rates of suicide, depression and anxiety through quality mental health care. Embark's Virtual Intensive Outpatient program expands access to vital, life-saving treatment by providing daily therapy online. As a Remote Psychiatric Provider, you will be delivering psychiatric services remotely, allowing patients to receive care from the comfort of their own homes or other convenient locations. This is especially important in areas where access to mental health services may be limited. You will diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe medication, offer therapy, and monitor treatment progress remotely. The goal is to improve access to mental health care, making it more flexible and accessible for patients who may face barriers to in-person visits, such as geographic isolation, mobility issues, or busy schedules. Remote psychiatric care usually involves video calls, phone consultations, or secure messaging platforms to communicate with patients, and is subject to privacy and confidentiality regulations, such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) in the United States.
