About The Position

The Remote Project Manager, Market Expansion is responsible for managing the end-to-end activities to support successful execution and performance of practice growth related projects, such as new clinics, moves, or clinic expansion. Incorporates learnings and best practices into future project for continuous improvement. Coordinates resources from all support departments as necessary for project activities. Ensures high levels of stakeholder and clinician communication, involvement, and satisfaction. Position requires an average of 30% - 50% out of state, domestic travel time.

Requirements

  • Must possess strong familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and software (Smartsheet, Excel, etc).
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience. Must be able to demonstrate leadership by serving as an example to others with regard to professional behavior, handling multiple tasks, maintaining a positive attitude, and in response to organizational change.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Must be able to learn new software quickly.
  • Must possess excellent leadership, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, board, clients, and the public.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to use time productively and contribute to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for capital growth initiatives through the entire project lifecycle, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, time, and budget constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Support strategic decision-making by coordinating market analytics, pulling and synthesizing internal data, and translating insights into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including communications, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, task delegation, and risk assessment.
  • Manage execution across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment across functional teams and proactively identifying bottlenecks, conflicts, or resourcing constraints.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (clinical leadership, real estate, IT, finance, compliance, credentialing, patient access, recruiting) activities, providing clear direction, guidance, and support to ensure efficient execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for growth projects, acting as the central hub for all service lines and functional teams to answer questions, facilitate decision-making, and resolve dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner closely with the Facilities Project Manager and Real Estate Project Manager to align timelines, responsibilities, budgets, and risks related to site selection, lease execution, design, construction, and readiness for occupancy.
  • Provide on-site project management and operational support during the clinic opening week, serving as the primary point of coordination to resolve issues in real time and ensure a smooth transition to patient care.
  • Supports tracking of capital budget, escalating budget risks and potential tradeoffs.
  • Identify and manage project risks, including regulatory, operational, and resource-related risks, proactively addressing challenges to minimize disruption to patient care and business objectives.
  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
  • Contribute to communications and presentations with executives and the board to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct project evaluations and post-project assessments to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Adherence to compliance and completion of compliance training.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
