Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is seeking a Presales Solution Consultant to engage with customers to gather business and technical requirements, determine business needs and demonstrate Siemens Teamcenter solutions to support the lifecycle of Department of Defense (DoD) and Aerospace and Defense (A&D) programs. You will be an instrumental member of our Presales team to help drive the sales and adoption of Siemens' cutting-edge software solutions within the DoD and A&D OEMS. This is a client facing role whose mission is to represent as a Teamcenter Subject Matter Expert to deliver high quality, value driven demonstrations to solve complex challenges and advance our clients' mission-critical objectives. You will engage customers in the technical discovery process to analyze their core business drivers and operational requirements. Leveraging this insight, you will translate those requirements into compelling value propositions, software demonstrations, and clear proposals to justify why Siemens is the ideal partner for their digital journey.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio with a focus on Teamcenter.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives and the extended sales team throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Develop and deliver high quality, compelling, value-based software demonstrations that directly address client needs.
  • Support client-facing workshops and value assessment activities to document their 'as-is' operational state and challenges.
  • Drive the development of the technical solution content for Requests for Information/Proposals (RFI/RFP).
  • Represent Siemens as a technical expert at industry trade shows, conferences, and marketing events.
  • Proactively maintain a deep functional knowledge of the Siemens software portfolio, the competitive landscape, and emerging trends within the Aerospace & Defense sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent years of experience.
  • Direct hands-on experience with the Siemens Teamcenter portfolio.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software to support BOM management, Change/Configuration Management.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically to support client engagements, industry events, and internal meetings.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role such as PreSales Consultant, Solutions Architect, or Implementation Consultant.

  • Pay range of $106,100.00 - $125,000.00 annually with a target incentive of 15% of the base salary.
