About The Position
The SPC Remote Operations Center (ROC) Operator plays a crucial role in the Southern Power Remote Operations Center, which operates 24/7 to provide remote monitoring and operational support for the renewable energy fleet, including wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems across the U.S. The operator is responsible for controlling and operating multiple renewable sites, managing equipment resets, curtailment directives, and ensuring effective communication with site personnel and management. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, operational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
