About The Position

The Remote Member Engagement Coordinator at BeneLynk plays a crucial role in assisting Medicare and Medicaid Managed Care Plan Members by helping them navigate their benefits and enrollment processes. This position focuses on addressing Social Determinants of Health barriers and aims to improve the quality of life for members through effective communication and advocacy. The role requires a proactive approach in a fast-paced call center environment, where coordinators will educate members about available resources and programs.

Requirements

• High School or General Education Degree (Preferred).
• Minimum of six months of experience in both Inbound and Outbound Call Centers with direct client interaction.
• Strong customer service and persuasion skills; sales experience is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to empathize with elderly and disabled populations.
• Ability to align and communicate appropriate resources and programs based on member qualifications.
• Reliable and high-speed internet connection is required.
• Must establish a quiet, clean, and safe work environment at home.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in benefits enrollment and social programs is a plus.
• Remote work experience is a plus.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound/outbound calls to screen Medicare Advantage plan members for pre-eligibility status for additional benefits.
• Review member's needs and provide assistance with general social programs.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics related to schedule adherence, telephone availability, working rate, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
• Ensure quality standards by maintaining proper phone etiquette, accurate case documentation, and proper disposition of cases.
• Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with BeneLynk's Outreach Operations.
• Participate in required staff and operational development programs and communicate openly as a team player.
• Demonstrate behaviors that reflect BeneLynk's vision, mission, and values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
