Support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) by providing accurate outpatient and professional services coding for Military Treatment Facilities across the U.S. Your work helps ensure providers are supported and patient care is properly documented and reported. This role is ideal for coders looking to build or strengthen their federal healthcare experience in a structured, quality-focused, remote environment while contributing to a mission that supports service members and their families.
Requirements
- 3+ years medical coding experience
- OR
- 2+ years coding experience in an MTF
- Active professional services coding certification
- Eligible for DHA background investigation
- Remote CONUS availability
- Contingent Upon Contract Award
Responsibilities
- Code outpatient specialty and primary care encounters
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes
- Resolve coding edits
- Meet DHA accuracy and productivity standards
