About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Manager, Energy Markets. In this role, you will lead and manage complex consulting projects in the areas of generation and load interconnection, as well as transmission planning across North American power markets. You will play a critical part in client relationship management, project delivery, team leadership, and exploring new business opportunities. Your insights will guide clients through regulatory and technical challenges, ultimately shaping the organization’s offerings in interconnection and transmission services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of consulting experience in the North American electric power sector, with significant exposure to interconnection and transmission.
• Experience managing teams and leading complex projects.
• Experience with generator or load interconnection processes, transmission planning, and regulatory frameworks.
• Client management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale interconnection and transmission consulting projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
• Oversee and mentor a team of consultants and associates, providing technical guidance and professional development.
• Develop and implement interconnection strategies for clients, utilizing advanced power flow simulations and market analysis.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients, managing relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory developments in North American power markets, advising clients on compliance and strategic positioning.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on business development, proposal writing, and service innovation.
• Present findings and recommendations to executive-level stakeholders, both internally and externally.
