About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote IT Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful project management and delivery of customer environment upgrades and internal initiatives. You will work across teams and departments to build strong partnerships and maintain a track record of on-time delivery with high customer satisfaction. Utilizing standard project management methodologies, you will oversee various aspects of delivery while managing a team in a matrixed environment.

Requirements

BA/BS degree in related field, PMP certification is a plus.
5+ years of experience managing large-scale, enterprise-class software delivery projects.
Experience managing teams of 8+ resources within a matrixed environment.
Develop and manage overall project plans and track progress.
Experience using Project Management tools; Smartsheet is a plus.
Experience managing projects within the Scrum Agile framework.
Understanding of healthcare payor workflows including claims processing and member enrollment.
Demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Partner with team and department leaders for the delivery of project-based activities.
Provide estimates and project charter documentation in support of ongoing and new department initiatives.
Maintain direct control over project planning, establishing measures for project success.
Develop and manage the overall program/project plans and timeline, including key milestones and dependencies.
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute the migration strategy.
Identify and manage project risks and issues, driving resolution of roadblocks.
Ensure high-quality project deliverables that meet customer requirements.
Communicate project status to key stakeholders and executive leadership.
