About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote IT Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving results independently, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring IT projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will manage project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans while facilitating effective communication within project teams. Your leadership will also extend to mentoring junior staff, providing an opportunity to shape and guide less experienced professionals in the field.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Agile, Predictive, and Hybrid Methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • PMI-PMP or PMI-ACP Certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT project management or coordination experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management processes and systems development methods.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a senior IT role such as Software Developer, Database Administrator, or Business Analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects with interdependencies across systems and projects.
  • Create project schedules and plans, securing resources from functional leads.
  • Ensure projects are completed within the established schedule baseline.
  • Develop risk management strategies to address potential project risks.
  • Drive results independently with minimal supervision.
  • Evaluate and recommend actions on change requests.
  • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to cost baselines.
  • Facilitate project meetings and maintain communication with all stakeholders.
  • Mentor project coordinators and less experienced staff.
