About The Position

Requirements

• Must have one of the following certifications: CPC, CCS, RHIA, COC, RHIT.
• 3+ years of inpatient coding experience.

• Rehab and LTAC coding experience.
• Inpatient audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Log in to work queues and apply coding to clinical services.
• Defend own audits related to coding.
• Write queries to request additional information from physicians for accurate coding.
• Review and question queries made by Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) specialists.
• Support different hospitals as needed, adapting to various regional and university facilities.

Benefits

• Pay range of $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.
