About The Position

The Remote Hospice Triage RN position at IntellaTriage involves providing compassionate care to patients in a hospice setting from the comfort of your home. This part-time role requires working evening shifts and every other weekend, focusing on end-of-life care while utilizing technology to manage patient interactions and documentation. Requirements

• Must have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care.
• Experience in fast-paced environments such as emergency departments, surgical services, or critical care.
• Comfortable using multiple technology applications for documentation during calls.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs).
• Ability to work flexible hours including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours triage for hospice patients via phone calls.
• Document patient interactions using electronic medical records (EMRs).
• Communicate empathetically with patients and their families while adhering to established protocols.
• Participate in three weeks of remote paid training to become familiar with company protocols and technology.
• Handle multiple calls per hour, managing stress and multitasking effectively.
