About The Position

The Remote Healthcare Records Processing Clerk is primarily responsible for supporting the Release of Information team by reviewing and processing member-submitted forms that authorize representation. This job can be worked from anywhere in the US as long as you have high speed internet and a distraction-free home office area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• High attention to detail and quality control
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A reliable high-speed internet connection (the faster the better!)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace in a room with a closed-door

Responsibilities

• Send authorization forms to members using the Fulfillment Order System
• Review submitted forms to authenticate member identity and ensure compliance with all documentation requirements
• Enter required data into clinical applications accurately and efficiently
• Fulfill orders created by clinical teams by placing them in the Fulfillment Order System
• Maintain tracking of received data and source documents
• Verify and interpret data prior to entry and follow up on inconsistencies or incomplete submissions
• File and route documents appropriately after data entry
• Respond to inquiries related to entered data
