About The Position

Maricich Health is seeking a remote seasoned freelance ACD-level copywriter to collaborate on high-impact campaigns across consumer health plans, hospital systems, and healthcare initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strategic concepting skills, exceptional copywriting expertise, and 5+ years of experience in advertising agencies with a proven track record developing work that moves hearts and meets marketing objectives. You’ll work side-by-side with creative directors, art directors, and account teams to ideate compelling narratives, develop integrated campaign concepts, and craft precise, engaging copy. This isn’t a tactical writing gig as we’re looking for a creative leader who understands the healthcare space, takes initiative in concepting, and knows how to make health feel human.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in an advertising agency, with creative leadership experience at the ACD level
• Experience developing campaigns for healthcare clients including hospitals, insurance plans, and patient engagement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Drive ideation and concept development for healthcare campaigns, including consumer health plans and hospital initiatives
• Deliver clear, thoughtful, and original copy across print, digital, OOH, and broadcast platforms
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate strategy into emotionally resonant and creatively sound ideas
• Apply deep knowledge of healthcare audiences to craft copy that resonates, educates, and inspires action
• Present concepts and copy to clients and internal teams with confidence; revise based on feedback to elevate the work
• Shepherd projects from kickoff through delivery, maintaining excellence in tone, accuracy, and alignment with brand
