About The Position

The position is remote based and requires a current Epic Certification, which is highly preferred. The role involves collaborating with physician colleagues and other care providers to establish standards of care for target medical conditions and procedures, utilizing evidence, quality indicators, regulatory requirements, and cost and performance data to guide decision making. The individual will manage and assign resources to support the project, ensuring adherence to established service quality guidelines and conducting root cause investigations for significant events. Responsibilities include developing training plans, overseeing resource planning, evaluating team performance, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The role also involves maintaining communication with customers and managing transitions from project to support to minimize client impact.

Requirements

  • Three to five years in a management or functional leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, IT, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of clinical or revenue workflow preferred.
  • Ability to learn Epic's software and obtain certification after training.
  • Familiarity with information systems and clinical software.
  • Experience in process improvement and change leadership.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to motivate team members.
  • Ability to manage resources effectively and meet deadlines.
