About The Position

CONTROLS ENGINEERJoin our team of leaders in control and power system integration and engineering. Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Software Engineers with field experience and strong knowledge of Power Systems to work out of our Phoenix, AZ office. This position is remote, but will involve travel up to 75%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in control systems and startup/commissioning.
  • Must have experience with low and medium voltage controls.
  • Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in English via verbal and written methods and be comfortable and effective doing so directly to customers and co-workers.

  • OPC Systems SCADA (HMI)
  • Industry experience:Oil and Gas, Utilities, Agriculture, Metals, Mining, Paper, Data Centers, Health Care Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, drive regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Should be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam when required
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
  • All offers are conditioned on acceptable results from a background check and drug and alcohol screening.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without need for employer-sponsored visa (work permit).
  • Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 75%.

  • Startup/Commissioning of control system (within continental US).
