About The Position

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial analysis and negotiation, as well as the validation of financial information regarding group insurance renewals and market studies.

Requirements

  • College diploma
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Group Insurance pricing and/or negotiation
  • Bilingualism is required, both oral and written (French and English)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in Internet software and ability to quickly research and retrieve information
  • Strong organizational skills and task prioritization
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding work performed
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to anticipate and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Potential renewal negotiations with insurers
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of client presentations for prospects as well as existing presentations
  • Promote high-quality service by applying customer service standards, including: creating, updating, and maintaining templates
  • Validate renewal experience data and rate tables
  • Financial data entry for files sent for market study
  • Support advisors
