About The Position

We are seeking a Part-Time Computer Operator to work on weekends from 7am to 7:30pm Central. This is a contract position that allows for remote work. The role is essential to provide the necessary bandwidth as current responsibilities are being handled by another team.

Requirements

• Experience with mainframe operations.
• Proficiency in CA7 and CA11.
• Familiarity with job scheduling tools (AutoSys, Control M, Unicenter).
• Experience with ticketing systems (Remedy, Service Now, Tivoli).
• Basic knowledge of JCL to troubleshoot mainframe errors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate mainframe systems.
• Utilize CA7 to demand jobs and CA11 to restart jobs.
• Schedule jobs using a job scheduler such as AutoSys, Control M, or Unicenter.
• Manage ticketing through systems like Remedy, Service Now, or Tivoli.
• Investigate mainframe errors by reviewing job logs.
