This crucial role will provide both operational and administrative support to the Chief Compliance Officer while executing specialized compliance projects. As a key partner, you will translate strategic compliance goals into actionable plans, managing regulatory obligations related to money transmission licensing and reporting. Your expertise will help ensure the company’s compliance and risk management initiatives operate smoothly, impacting the financial sector positively. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within a regulated industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience in defining and reporting on organizational KPIs and/or KRIs.
  • Proven experience with regulatory notifications and filings related to money transmission or similar frameworks.
  • Strong project management skills from inception to completion.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and eagerness to learn new tools and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support routine and ad hoc regulatory filings and ensure timely submissions to regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to maintain a regulatory inventory for the company's products and services.
  • Manage and integrate compliance policies into daily operations across business units.
  • Implement risk and compliance programs including risk assessments and conflicts of interest management.
  • Maintain a project tracker and KPIs for compliance and risk initiatives.
  • Develop a dashboard of Key Risk Indicators for reporting to executives and the Board.
  • Create training programs for employees to support compliance and risk initiatives.
  • Execute special projects as required by the Legal and Compliance teams.
