Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
- Familiarity or experience with agriculture, grazing, and land management issues.
- Proven ability to design and implement digital marketing and public relations campaigns.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Experience building and maintaining media relationships and effective story pitching.
- Understanding of digital marketing techniques and tools.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Team-oriented and enthusiastic about contributing to organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute media outreach strategies, including pitching stories to various media outlets.
- Create engaging PR content to enhance the organization's reputation for expertise in landowner-led conservation.
- Manage social media channels with a focus on content creation and audience engagement.
- Design digital assets and advertising content using design platforms like Canva.
- Monitor media coverage and audience engagement to refine communication strategies.
- Produce diverse content across multiple platforms, telling the organization's story to inspire action.
- Collaborate with leadership to align communication strategies with organizational goals.
- Coordinate communication efforts and content production with the communications team.
