Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration required.
10+ years in a high-level finance role within the healthcare or insurance industry.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements.

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree preferred.
CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee all finance activities for the business unit, including annual operating plan development.
Conduct financial analysis and forecast, including headcount planning.
Identify medical cost trends and lead cost improvement initiatives.
Perform financial impact analysis for new contracts and support negotiations.
Review monthly performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
Facilitate communication between Corporate Finance and the Business Unit.
Establish financial strategic vision and policies supporting the overall plan.
Oversee pricing models and lead efficiency initiatives.
Direct health plan analytical needs and coordinate reporting.
Act as lead for internal and external audits.
