Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree required, with a counseling, social work, nursing, advocacy, or science background preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in case management or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of insurance coverage and reimbursement processes.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory components of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer literacy skills.
  • Ability to work from a home office environment and maintain general availability during business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Provide initial and ongoing patient interactions to address questions and integrate therapy into their daily lives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for case management and onboarding activities specific to the patient.
  • Place Welcome Calls after case creation in the CRM.
  • Share disease, product, and program education materials with patients.
  • Introduce patients to the appropriate patient community and advocacy groups.
  • Communicate benefits investigation results to patients.
  • Coordinate injection training support for patients.
  • Conduct adherence program touchpoints and engage mentors.
  • Support patients who restart treatment and maintain documentation during interactions.
  • Report adverse events promptly during customer interactions.
